Poeme : Have A Little Faith In Me

Have A Little Faith In Me

Have a little faith in me. Believe what I say
When I suggest you need to believe in yourself.
Forget what they all say, and they will watch in dismay
As you put on your own that trophy on your shelf.

Have a little faith in me, I believe in you.
Put your shoes on. It is time for a jog
Because it’s time for you to thrive and get your due.
Go run that last stretch and leave them all in the fog.

Have a little faith in me. Every Man has rights.
If you try hard, respect the freedom of others,
You will reach your goals : the prize for all your fights.
The mudded path will feel like a field of feathers.

So have a little faith in me and believe me
When I say : « All you need is to trust your heart.
Respect yourself and don’t get down on either knee
For you will find the bull’s-eye of your dreams with art. »
