Poeme : Lets Give It A Shot

I know we don’t stand a chance
But I want to try it out,
I know we are doomed in advance,
But I’m gonna scream and shout !

I will give us all I’ve got
And it won’t depend on you.
But if you give us a shot,
Maybe we’ll start something new.

That « we » may not be enough,
Everything is against us.
But you and I are both tough ;
Lets give in without a fuss.

We will probably get hurt
But we will not hate ourselves
For not digging through the dirt
And putting stuff on the shelves.
