I fell in love without knowing it
Fought it off like a disease
Thought I’d be ok with it
But instead it spread like a disease

Ignored it like you ignore the players
Made sure you knew I was just a friend
In this romance we were the two players
That pretended they wanted a friend

All this time I thought you would treat me wrong
And all this time you thought I didn’t care
But all this time, you and I were so wrong
You ignored me to try and stop to care

Now I’m on my way to a new life
And this romance will never be
With your loved one, continue your life
While I dream of what we could be

A broken couple with different dreams
So we would not fit in each other’s dreams.
