Le Poème

I am surrounded by people
But more alone than ever
I’m smiling and pretending I’m fine
When all I want to do is cry
People are blind to my pain
Because it’s easier than caring
People think they know me
But they don’t know me at all
They don’t see past the wall I’ve built
Like true friends should
I’m all alone
Slowly drowning
Sinking into eternal darkness
I may be alive but no longer belong to this world
People just stand and watch me drown
In every tear I shed
I’m fading from existence
Just a mere shadow of life
I’m an echo of a distant laughter
I’m living with no soul
I’m living with no purpose
My grave is dug
My end is near
So all I need to do
Is say good bye
And explain why
Now that it’s done
It’s time for me to die

Tant de gens que l’on crois heureux parcequ’on ne les connais pas, on ne vis pas chez eux
Leurs blessures ne saignent pas. . .
Seuls tes vrais amis peuvent passer le mur dont tu parles
